Our Story and Commitment to You
Background and Approach
I have more than 15 years of experience in injury treatment and rehabilitative massage therapy. Although I originally planned to become a Physical Therapist, I ultimately found my calling as a Medical Massage Therapist. Early in my training, I learned to use deep pressure effectively while protecting my own body mechanics. However, as I began working with clients recovering from injuries, I saw that many could not tolerate the level of pressure I had been taught to apply.
At the same time, I was on a spiritual path that led me to Reiki, a practice centered on the idea of universal life force energy and the body’s innate wisdom. I've since been attuned to Leve 3 Grand Master. This perspective changed the way I worked with clients. Instead of trying to force a specific muscle release, I began observing the body’s compensations as intentional and meaningful. This led me to study what the body might be communicating through fascial restrictions and to explore recurring patterns I had not seen described elsewhere in the field.
Over time, I began connecting those patterns and anticipating certain types of restrictions. To better understand what I was seeing, I spent more than a decade researching neurology and fascia and then compiled my findings. That work led to opportunities to present a poster of my research.

How This Work Helps Clients
Research is always evolving, and this work continues to develop and deepen. Even so, I have found that scar shape and size often correspond to predictable patterns that Scar Tissue Reintegration Therapy can address to help tissue become more functional again. In my view, many manual therapists are already working along these lines without fully recognizing the pattern.
Majority of scar therapy only addresses the scar tissue itself.
This therapy is more holistic in how the scar impacts the entire limb or more, through lines of tension that extend from the scar, thereby possibly impacting range of motion and more.
This knowledge allows for more precise and efficient treatment of restrictions caused by injury or surgery that.
As a result, I am often able to help clients address lingering injuries and chronic pain that have been difficult to resolve, even with medication. This approach is not a replacement for physical therapy, and ongoing rehabilitation may still be necessary, but it has helped many clients find relief from complex pain patterns.
If you are ready to explore the root of your discomfort, I invite you to book a consultation or schedule a new client session.

How the Assessment Helps
The assessment provides information that helps us better understand how the body is responding to the forces of gravity and tensions pulling within the system. When we identify what the body is trying to do—often to protect itself—we can work with those patterns more effectively and support faster results.

The mind-body connection
Working smarter and not harder by using touch as a means of connecting with the nervous system.

Posture & Alignment
Postural alignment gives a good indication of the tension going on in your body. After injuries we can walk away feeling "fine" but our body might be holding itself in ways that can put undo pressure on joints that can lead to chronic pain.

Balance & Equality
Ideal health is a balance of strengthening what is weak and loosening what is tight. This helps to create balance within our system so we are not overloading in areas and under utilizing others, which leads to chronic pain.
